We are looking for a Project Procurement Manager/Commodity Manager at our facility in Raleigh, NC, to execute commercial evaluation of proposals and conduct negotiation/revise contract documents that include price, scope, schedule, contractual terms and conditions and other ‘non-price criteria’ as applicable.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Contribute to the technical review and clarifications with supplier and provide innovative solutions to solve highly complex supply/supplier problems.
- Work closely and collaboratively with Project Management, Engineering, global sourcing team, and others as necessary to strategize best decision/outcome for company.
- Perform comprehensive analyses of the supplier’s financial stability, technical competence and manufacturing capability.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field and 8 years of experience. Will also accept Master and 6 years of experience. Experience must include 6 years in: knowledge of contract language – meanings and ramifications of the terms and conditions; analyze financial standing and soundness of suppliers; evaluate monetary implications/financial instruments and processes to ensure contracts are structured; ability to research and develop ideas/strategies to address complex supply chain issues to maintain impacts on the overall projects; and experience with interfacing with various professional and management levels.
