📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

SilverBow is an independent oil and natural gas company, located in Houston, TX, and listed on the NYSE under the ticker “SBOW.” We develop, explore, acquire, and operate oil and gas properties, primarily in the Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk in South Texas. SilverBow is in search of a Business Development Engineer II to provide support for the Business Development team. The Business Development Engineer II will be responsible for the evaluation of all Acquisition and Divestiture (A&D) activities of the Company. This role will be expected to incorporate reservoir, operations and geology and create development plans to evaluate the economics of assets, as well as prepares technical presentations to senior management and continuously improve programs, processes and relationships. To be successful in this position, we’re looking for a self-starter who wants to work as a member of a busy team, is interested in learning new skills, and is flexible and adaptable as priorities change.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in identifying and evaluating opportunities in targeted basins. Develop and presents technical evaluations to Senior ManagementStay current on industry transactions, trends and metrics. Represents SBOW in industry events and builds relationships with outside parties (banks, operators, etc.)Data room evaluationsAssist in coordinating SBOW’s due diligence efforts and integration of acquired assets. Forecast production and runs economics in ARIES.Responsible for LOE and Capex reviews. Incorporate geologic, reservoir, land, operational and financial data into economic models. Responsible for reservoir engineering associated for opportunities including production decline analysis, assessing OOIP and OGIP, analyzing well spacing, evaluating EUR distributions, performing RTA, etc. Understand evaluation methods (DCF, NAV, Transaction Comps, etc.)Take all projects from idea to finished product with little to no supervision.

Required Experience & Education5+ years of reservoir engineering or business development experienceRequired: Bachelor's Degree in engineering disciplineExposure to multiple shale basins in Lower 48. Eagle Ford experience preferred.
