Sogility St. Louis General Manager Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:As General Manager (GM) of a Sogility facility, the employee is required to ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more. The GM must be an adept leader with a strong business mind and a knack for organization, collaboration and problem-solving. He/she should be people-focused - someone who does not do business at the cost of other employees. They should understand the staffing environment, have the determination to make people better, and build professional interpersonal relationships with employees.

• Other duties include: Oversee daily business operationsDevelop & implement growth strategies and meet/exceed revenue and profit goalsSolve for customer and/or player inquiries and issues.
• Manage staff hiring, on-boarding, training, monitoring, scheduling , payroll and appraising job performance.
• Evaluating and improving work productivity.
• Develop policies and guidelines for facilities inspection, set-up, maintenance and repair.
• Create & manage facility budgetsTrack KPI's and meet / exceed improvement goalsEnsure a safe, secure and legal work environmentEstablishing standards for marketing and advertising and assists with the execution

Preferred skills and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management or related fieldExperience in conducting performance evaluationsWorking knowledge of human-resources processes
