Title: Property Tax Assistant/Data EntryDuration: 3 MonthsLocation: Tonawanda, NY 14150Shift Details: 8:00 am - 4:45 pm
Key DutiesAssemble property tax return documents and mail to jurisdictions. Scanning and indexing of Property Tax invoicesScanning and indexing of property tax notices of valueUse PTMS Software to assign Tax bills to collector accounts and assets, and generate payment files for Accounts PayableReaching out to taxing jurisdictions to obtain information on invoices including assessed values and payoff amounts. Open and sort mail. Direct mail to appropriate partyIdentifying items that need immediate attention and routing them appropriately. Other support to the team as necessaryRequired skillsHighly Organized, Attention to detail, ability to work independently, basic excel and data entry skills. Must be able to handle high volume of activity/transactions. Strong communication skills. Required BackgroundHigh school diplomaMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in an office environmentExcel proficiency and Data Entry experience highly desiredExperience in Accounting/Finance/Real Estate highly desiredAssociates degree in business or finance a plus
