Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and execution of projects from conception to completion, overseeing all phases including engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout.- Manage multiple concurrent projects, encompassing overhead transmission and substation ventures ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV.- Collaborate with technical teams to comprehend project interdependencies and establish comprehensive construction sequences for interconnected projects.- Maintain meticulous project financial records with the support of the project team.- Develop and uphold detailed project schedules with assistance from the project scheduling team.- Implement a structured project management lifecycle process to ensure consistent and standardized project execution.- Utilize technical expertise to proficiently manage projects and resolve any technical challenges.- Act as the primary point of contact with clients, facilitating communication and overseeing strategic planning, scope management, and budgeting efforts.- Provide comprehensive project management oversight, including siting, environmental compliance, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, and construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology (in any discipline).- Minimum of 5 years of relevant Transmission & Distribution (T&D) experience.- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to guide team members and ensure project deliverables are achieved.
