📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:Assist in full-cycle accounting month-end close activities such as: prepare journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments), fixed asset accounting (additions, deletions, depreciation, month end roll forwards), intercompany transactions and reconciliation, invoice preparation, prepare balance sheet reconciliations and fluctuation analysisEnsure compliance with internal controlsProvide supporting schedules/documentation to external auditorsEnter cash transactions and reconcile bank accountsAssist in preparing various tax supporting schedulesSupport public company accounting and reporting processesAssist with other accounting functions as needing including ERP System, Internal controls, SOX Compliance, SEC reporting, Accounts Payable, Sales Tax filingRequirements:B.S. degree in accounting or finance3-5 years of progressive accounting experienceKnowledge of GAAP accounting and month-end close cycleExcelKnowledge of cost accountingExposure to NetSuiteLife Science/Biotech/Pharma exp preferred
