Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Franklin, WI
Hire Type: CONTRACT-TO-HIRE
Shift
First Shift, Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime required on 2 or 3 Fridays a month during the same hours.
Responsibilities
Assemble and test high voltage electrical products according to provided documentation, including bills of material, blueprints, and change notices. Complete testing at timing stations and run switches through 4 operations stations. Perform mechanical work, including disconnect assemblies. Troubleshoot electrical issues as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in high voltage electrical work OR an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar field. Experience with tens of thousands of volts and ability to work with high-voltage electrical products. High voltage electrical experience required (5KV / 3 phase). Ability to interpret complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications. Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues. Proficiency in using machining tools, hand-held tools, wiring equipment, wrenches, torque tools, and other tools.
