Inventory Accounting Manager

Essential Purpose Of This Position

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position will be responsible for inventory-related accounting activities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Inventory accounting for Essex Furukawa Magnet WireCoordination of certain accounting activities in the divisional headquartersReporting and variance analysis related to inventory and inventory valuation. Provide reports for consignment location physical inventories.

Normal work performed in an office environment; occasional travel may be required to offsite locations for inventories, internal reviews and continuing professional education. Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of Products, including Excel and Word

Education And Experience Requirements

Accounting/Finance degree required.5+ years of progressive accounting experience required. Inventory Accounting in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience with ERP system is strongly preferred. Professional certification (CPA) is preferred.
