An industry leader manufacturer is seeking a growth-oriented Buyer to join their team of professionals near Wilmar, MN. Responsibilities
- Planning and purchasing assigned products that are sold with our manufactured products.*Forecasting demand and maintaining levels according to forecasted sales.*Negotiating & managing vendor relationships, terms & contracts including sourcing & setting up new vendors*Demonstrate commitment to high personal & professional ethical standards
Qualifications
- Education equivalent to an associate degree and a minimum of three years of purchasing experience in manufacturing. Required* Proficient with MS Office products and mainframe ERP systems such as IQMS, Microsoft D365. Required* Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization. Required* Honest and fiscally responsible with proven negotiation skills. Required
