📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:Validate and test CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) devices, focusing on Home Gateway products. Debug device-level issues related to Wi-Fi and network protocols. Demonstrate a strong understanding of DHCP, DNS, and IP protocols for effective troubleshooting. Conduct Wi-Fi performance testing and analyze results to ensure optimal functionality. Utilize test equipment such as Octoscope, Candela, or Veriwave for validation and testing purposes. Qualifications:Must have 2-3 years of recent experience working with CPE devices. Clear understanding and experience with Home Gateway products, including device-level issue debugging. Proficiency in DHCP, DNS, and IP protocols, which are fundamental to the role. Ideally, 5-7 years of total experience in the field. CCNA certification obtained in 2023/2024 is preferred. Previous experience with Wi-Fi performance testing is required. Familiarity with Octoscope, Candela, or Veriwave test equipment is a must-have for this position.
