Clinical Director

A social services organization in Brooklyn is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Director to join their growing staff. In this role, the Clinical Director will be responsible for the programmatic service delivery in partnership with the Program Director.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Director will:Supervise the program's multi-disciplinary team, which will include Social Service Supervisors, Case Managers, and Client Care CoordinatorsProvide supervision to Social Service Supervisors to troubleshoot client issues, and enhance direct reports clinical case management skills in accordance with program policies, procedures, and protocolsProvide clinical supervision to Client Care Coordinators to ensure supportive counseling is provided to clientsProvide management oversight to the supportive housing processTrain and support staff in the use of Evidence Based Practices (EBP)Conduct audits of the Uniform Client Chart and supporting documentation Establish linkages with appropriate community agencies for services required by shelter residentsQualifications:Current NYS LCSW or LMHC license3+ years of supervisory experienceDemonstrated experience facilitating groups and developing curriculaDemonstrated experience working with individuals with mental illness and substance abuseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of crisis intervention techniquesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteDesired Skills:Bilingual, English and SpanishExperience with homeless families
