A health services organization in Ohio is currently seeking a licensed General Dermatologist to join one of their practices in Akron, Ohio.
Responsibilities
The General Dermatologist will:Identify various dermatological conditions through clinical examination, patient history, and sometimes diagnostic tests like skin biopsies or patch testingProvide both medical and procedural treatments for various skin issuesPerform regular skin cancer screenings, educate patients about risk factors, and offer surgical interventions, when necessaryManage chronic skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea, providing ongoing care and treatment plans to help patients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of lifeDiagnose and treat various infectious skin diseases, including bacterial, viral, and fungal infections, as well as sexually transmitted infections affecting the skinHelp patients manage allergic reactions and sensitivities that manifest on the skin, often involving conditions like contact dermatitis and urticaria (hives)Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, preventive measures, and overall skin healthPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of OhioBoard Eligible and/or Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology or the American Osteopathic Board of DermatologyDEA registrationYour privacy is important to us.
