Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for an API Infrastructure Engineer at Tech Brains Solutions Inc. located in New York, NY. The API Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, infrastructure management, system administration, network security, and networking. The role requires working on-site.
Duties: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable API infrastructure to support various internal and external applications.• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications.• Implement best practices for API design, versioning, security, and documentation.• Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability through monitoring, testing, and tuning.• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to services.• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in API development and infrastructure.
Skills: • HTTP/HTTP2• NGINX or comparable• gRPC• Protocol Buffers• Java• Python
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
