📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking an Application Programmer to take charge of the design, development, and implementation of graphical user interfaces and Direct Digital Control Logic for HVAC Automation projects. As an integral member of our team, you will:
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to grasp project objectives.- Segment the scope of work into manageable components and coordinate scheduling with the Project team and Manager.- Participate in graphical review meetings with clients to align on project graphics standards.- Prepare and distribute "Request for Information" (RFI) documentation to Application Engineer and Project Manager.- Adhere to project timelines and requirements by following established standards and engineered sequences of operation.- Generate as-built documentation based on initial construction drawings and on-site modifications.- Collaborate in establishing and enforcing engineering and programming standards to ensure consistency and quality.- Uphold the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction across all projects.
Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in DDC/BAS systems engineering.- Familiarity with Tridium and Alerton systems is advantageous.- Knowledge of mechanical HVAC equipment, electrical and network wiring, and standard BAS components and programming is desirable.- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) is required, with additional experience in AutoCAD, Visual Basic, Visio, and Alerton/Tridium products preferred.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Valid driver’s license from the State of Florida.
