Their environment: Enterprise level, mixture between Windows (90%) and Linux (10%). Windows experience is more valued. Needs experience handling build, design, engineering, patching and updating servers. Also needs M365, AAD, AD experience from an operational level.
Powershell- Needs experience scripting from scratch, they are looking to automate as much as they can, so they need an automation first mindset. Also experience with Terraform and ansible would be a major plus.
VMWare- Doesn’t need an expert, but needs experience handling support, VCenter experience etc.
Description
Majority of customer support is on prem Cisco UCS or HP hardware or pure storage Vmware for virtualization - Mix of windows and linux vms that we deploy 130-250 VMs per site Support developing and testing environments at multiple locations as well Primary responsibilities will be supporting the requests around the Azure Cloud infrastructure - also have a GCP environment (that experience would be a plus) Various services deployed storage accounts, Blobs, containers, VPCs, configuration This resource also supported our corporate environment with Active Directory, O365, Exchange Online, Teams, etc. This resource was helping our service desk team who supports these services as well Azure Infrastructure expert, ask questions for new requirement, knows how to attack changes, knows how to build new VMs in Azure, Storage Account permissions VMware experience doesn't need to be an expert, have some level of experience with Vcenter and VMs on prem, USXi host, how they all work Standard server administration (Windows would be better)
