As a FPGA Design Engineering Manager, you will...
- Manage a matrixed team of up to 10-12 (possibly more)· Provide technical support and knowledge· Select engineering tools· Drive improvements in design processes· Mentor and encourage new engineers· Ensuring engineering team adheres to the required policies and processes· Foster a culture of enjoying engineering design.· Review FPGA designs· Provide engineering feedback to design architectures.· Encourage teamwork· Measure and report progress toward on-time delivery goals· Ensure the design project meets internal and customer requirements by ensuring adherence to the required policies and procedures
The education, skills, and attributes you'll need for this role...
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent· 10 or more years of design and development in FPGA design and test.· Demonstrate detail knowledge of VHDL coding and how to optimize for performance· History of managing/leading people.· This position requires access to United States export-controlled information.
