THE POSITIONThe firm is seeking a Corporate Paralegal with 1-2 years of experience, in their Seattle office. Job responsibilities include private and public company financings and mergers, including coordinating closings and preparing related documents; preparing legal opinions and assembling opinion back-up; preparation of corporate and securities filings, organization of corporate records for both private and public companies; preparation of stock certificates and ledgers; and other tasks as assigned by attorneys. This hire may work a hybrid schedule (2 days from home) out of the firm’s Seattle office.
QUALIFICATIONS1-2 years of corporate experience in a large law firm as a Corporate Paralegal [in house experience not relevant.]Required: BA/BS degreeWillingness and availability to work overtimePreferred: familiarity with Carta, Shareworks or similar Web based equity tracking system
COMPENSATIONTarget compensation range is $32-$40/ hour. This role is eligible for overtime and fully benefitted.
