Play a critical role in partnering with a metal and steel manufacture when you become a cnc laser operator for this family-owned business that has been around for more than 100 years in Omaha, NE.
What Matters Most As a Cnc Laser Operator
Pay of $17-$18 an hour 2nd shift, 2:30pm-12:30pm Monday-ThursdayBenefits include; medical, dental, and vision, additional benefits such as group accident, critical illness w/ cancer benefits, short-term disability, behavioral health, term life, and identity theft. Weekly pay via direct deposit
Your New Role As a Cnc Laser Operator
Ability to setup and operate CNC laser machine Knowledge and hands-on operation of CNC laser for metal fabrication including program retrieval, proper gases, proper nozzles, lenses, etc. Knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication process and concepts. Provide routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs to CNC laser machine. Setup metal fabrication machinery and other production necessities to produce "0 defect" parts. Check accuracy of work using blueprints and precision measuring tools. Accurately complete work orders with correct quantities of good and defective parts. Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
What You Need As a Cnc Laser Operator
Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required. Ability to properly document paperwork. Previous experience in manufacturing engineering, fabrication management and/or operations of low and mid-sized volume metal fabrication preferred. Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification. Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently.
