Position Title: Desktop Support Technician Company Name: Top utility company in MN
Location: onsite fully with travel expected Minneapolis, MN Location - Nicollet Minneapolis, MN 55459
Travel: around the Minneapolis area, around a 30-minute radius of the city. Most of the time they will be at the Nicollet site imaging devices
Reason for need: windows 10 to 11 migration support Must Have Skills:3-4 years of experience providing end to end desktop support to internal customers Windows 10 experience Microsoft Office 365 experience Experience troubleshooting and setting up iPhone devices Basic computer hardware experience Able to pass DMV background check (if converted, this contractor will be driving company vehicle)
Soft Skills:Ability to work independently with little management oversight Ability to communicate with internal customers in field and office setting
Nice to have Skills:Windows 11 experience (currently moving from Windows 10 to 11) ServiceNow ticketing experience - BIG PLUS A+ certification Experience working in the field and supporting field laptops (currently using Panasonic cf33)
Day to Day responsibilities:Support end users with network outages, account lockouts, password resets, login access issues, etc. Troubleshoot applications where needed Computer refreshes - receive equipment , prep and deploy Transfer data to and from devices Support and set up new iPhone devices for end users Work within ServiceNow to open and close tickets Set up printers and troubleshoot printers when needed Support business/end users in the field with their field laptops - service technicians, construction crews, etc.
