Founded in 1988, it is the world's longest running rap periodical, initially founded as a newsletter. The magazine provides extensive news coverage of urban music, African American issues, youth culture, and politics. The Source's office is located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Role Description This is a full-time Content Manager role with The Source Magazine. The Content Manager will be responsible for overseeing the creation, development, and implementation of the magazine's content across all platforms, including print and digital. The Content Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of writers, editors, and designers. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of working from the New York City Metropolitan Area office with some flexibility for remote work. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership and management skillsExperience in content development and project managementExpertise in digital media strategy and social media managementProficiency in content management systemsKnowledge of SEO best practicesExperience in the music or entertainment industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field is preferred
