Panel Builder

Primary Responsibilities: The Panel Builder will assemble and build Industrial Control Panels while following schematics/drawings, wire panels per print and verbal instructions.

Primary Accountabilities

Panel layout and design according to schematics/drawings. Read electrical schematics and drawings. Operate necessary hand and power tools required. Be familiar with electrical control components. Assemble equipment from blueprints and verbal instructions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Experience in electronic assembly or an Apprentice electrician preferred. Educational training and/or certification in electronics and/or instrument/electrical. Previous experience wiring control panels. Ability to read schematics and wire panels from prints, and verbal instruction. Previous work experience in electronics, electrical wiring and instrument/electronic/electrical troubleshooting. Ability to mount electrical components including: circuit breakers, transformers, relays, contacts, terminals, input/ output devices and other related industrial control devices. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. Must have good dexterity with hands. Measuring and metric knowledge. Strong mechanical aptitude, including fabricating skills. Ability to lift and/or move up to 30-40 lbs. Flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours
