Job Summary

Our data engineer / data scientist internship offers a variety of hands-on experience, depending on your area of interest and experience. You will receive hands-on experience using your data engineering and data science skills in a professional setting while learning how to operate in an agile, team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Become intimately familiar with data requirementsManage, clean, and transform data for analysis using various programming languagesWork with data engineers to ensure that data is properly managed and securedWork with data scientists on complex, multi-dimensional projects, and learn valuable leadership skillsLearn how to effectively work under pressure and as part of a teamDevelop and implement machine learning models to solve business problemsCommunicate insights from data analysis to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Recommended Skills & Experience

Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other related fieldExperience in any of the following languages: Python, Java, R, Scala, SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, HiveAbility to think critically and work independently and collaborate with a teamA wide degree of creativity, openness, and latitude when approaching problems

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
