Staff Accountant, Full Time

Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for organizational management. As an Accountant, you will perform accounting functions and procedures essential to the success of the firm for assigned properties. This position works closely with the Director of Accounting, Senior Accountants, Field Staff and the Troon team. Previous accounting experience is a requirement for the position.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with the ability to multi-task and work independently, as needed.

Responsibilities
Reconciling bank accounts, posting journal entries, and balancing general and subsidiary ledgersPerforming month-end processesPreparation of financial statements including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and Cost of Goods Sold AnalysisBalance sheet reconciliationsFinancials statement analysisCash flow forecasting and managementSales & Use tax filingsPayroll reconciliationsFinancial statements audits and reviewsPerform other accounting functions as directed by senior management
Education And Experience Requirements
4-year college degree in accounting or finance preferred3+ years accounting experience in a fast-paced environmentCPA (or working towards certification) preferred, but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent computer skillsAccounting software applications experience (Sage, MAS 500 preferred)

SALARY: $50,000 to $55,000 annually.
