Minimum 2-3 years of Project Management Experience Venteon is currently seeking a Project Manager to fill an opening with an Automotive Supplier located in Metro Detroit. Must have experience with mechanical system / product design, testing and development. Requirements of the Project ManagerDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 3-4 years of Project Management experience Automotive product design and development experience Experience with development of small, highly precise componentsAutomotive industry experience is highly desiredExperience in generating, maintaining and updating product Bills of Materials is desired
Responsibilities of the Project Manager Designing and launch new products / projects Responsible for guiding and directing the project team (Engineering, Production, and Quality) throughout each phase of the project lifecycle. Monitor and control all aspects of the project team, budget, quality, and changes.-Facilitate and lead weekly customer and internal meetings regarding the progress, timing, financials, and changes associated with each project. Worked with the engineering, production, validation, and quality teams to drive project activities while maintaining timing, costs, quality, and changes. Function as a customer representative to ensure that all customer requirements were addressed and incorporated into each new project throughout the design and development phases
