Summary

In this role, you will provide strategy development, strategic planning, and operational leadership to expand consulting services revenues & deliverables associated with the Supply Chain Continuum including Procurement, Contracting, Distribution, Logistics, Inventory, and Accounts Payables functional areas. Using your depth and breadth of consulting expertise to lead increasingly complex projects to generate strategic insight, direct and manage teams, influence members and deliver value.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and skill in healthcare supply chain to drive member value.
• Adapt to each member's style and culture through their communication style, physical presence, project management methods, etc.
• Analyze, designs and develops diverse member operational efficiencies and system utilization solutions.
• Provide interim leadership for mid-level individual contributor or manager role at member site.
• Execute assigned project plans; prioritizes tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.
• Obtain data from internal, external and member sources and independently performs analyses.
• Identify possible upsell opportunities and discusses ideas with a more senior project team member.
• Create presentations; present data and recommendations to member management.
• Use project management methodology to structure work efforts.
• Develop mid-level member relationships by interacting directly with member team.
• Create and recommend ideas for improving products / services / tools / methods in functional area of focus for member project or across the Supply Chain Services department / Vizient organization.
• Develop intellectual capital materials (e.g., case studies, blogs).

Qualifications

Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree a plus.7 or more years of relevant experience required. Experience in supply chain and healthcare required. Strong relationship building and strategic partnering skills preferred. Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year.

Estimated Hiring Range

$117,600.00 - $175,050.00
