We are a 501(c)3, non-profit whose mission is to teach, support, and empower women and girls globally to find their VOICE.
The Community Outreach Coordinator will play a crucial role in connecting our organization with the broader community. Your responsibilities will involve planning and implementing outreach strategies, fostering relationships, and promoting community engagement.
Duties
- Organize regular outreach exhibitions & workshops within the community.
- Coordinate community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
- Ensure timely scheduling and participation.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with collaborative partners, businesses, and individuals.
- Strengthen existing connections and explore new opportunities.
- Collaborate with various team members & external supporters to ensure proper messaging & showcase our community impact.
Skills Needed
Communication skills Both verbal and in writing to inform and persuade donors, the media and people in the community of the organization’s purpose. Project management skills It is essential for an Outreach Coordinator to have skills in time management, scheduling other people and coordinating locations for events as well as vendors for events. Organizational skills Essential.
Required
Education Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related fields. Experience Preferred experience of 3-5 years within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities.
This is primarily a remote position, however must be onsite for outreach activities/workshops. Volunteer must be based in Montgomery County, PA or Philadelphia.
