Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Solution Architect to join our AI Solutions Consulting & Engineering (SC&E) team. Reporting to the Managing Director of AI Solutions, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our business development efforts, focusing on engaging with a diverse range of clients to deliver comprehensive AI solutions. This position involves close collaboration with a matrixed team of WWT consultants, salespeople, data engineers, and software developers to both enable sales and develop tailored proposals for our clients. Our clients range from those mature in their AI and data preparedness to those just beginning to explore AI solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of AI technology, market trends, and customer needs. You will function as both a consultant and technical leader. As a consultant, you will meet with the business and IT leaders of our clients, understand their ambitions, and pain points, and develop a vision of how to best solve their problems. As a technical leader, you will actualize the vision by designing engagements involving WWT's service offerings and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Engagement

Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives related to AI and data solutions.

Sales Enablement/Cross Functional Collaboration

Equip sales teams with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell AI solutions, including training materials, product demos, and competitive insights. Work closely with senior leadership, consultants, data engineers, data scientists, software developers, and OEM partners to ensure the proposed solutions are feasible, innovative, and aligned with client expectations.

Documentation

Lead the creation of compelling proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition of our AI solutions, tailored to the specific needs of each client. Design solutions and service offerings Generate project support documentation, including procedural documents for implemented systems when scope requires

Customer Success

Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor in their AI journey. Deliver strong analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to ensure successful client projects & team performance.

Market Analysis/Continuous Learning

Maintain required level of knowledge on company-offered solutions including the completion of assigned courses and relevant certification exams when applicable. Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements within existing technologiesConduct continual learning and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the AI solutions space. Use this information to inform strategy and product development. Collect and analyze feedback from clients and the sales team to continuously improve our offerings and sales strategies.

Skills/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or a related role within the technology sector, specifically related to AI, data analytics, or cloud services. Strong understanding of AI technologies, data management practices, and the current AI market landscape. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic business relationships and close deals. Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and internal teams. Experience in consulting or a technical pre-sales role focused on AI or data solutions. Familiarity with assessments, recommendations, roadmaps, and common AI use cases for multiple industries. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience working with software developers and data engineers. Fluent understanding of Agile and/or ITILStrong organizational and analytical skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detailIndependent and self-motivated and very thorough workerTroubleshooting skills (patience and determination to find and solve problems)
