Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to join our Clifton Park, NY office. In this role, you will be involved with planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water and wastewater source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.
Responsibilities
Planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water and wastewater source, distribution, storage, and treatment projectsProvide support to Project Manager and other team membersHydraulic design for pump and piping systemsAsset managementWriting technical reports, memos, communicationsWorking on pilot studiesField work and site visits for projects in various phases
Essential Functions
Possessing effective written and verbal communication skillsFocused on building strong relationship with coworkers and colleaguesCommitted to continual learning and ongoing professional developmentPossessing excellent personal organization and time management skillsSelf-motivated and results-driven with strong attention to detail
Experience
6-8 years of previous engineering experience working on a variety of drinking water or wastewater projects Commensurate experience with local, state, and federal regulatory and funding processesMS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams AutoCAD, Revit preferredAcrGIS knowledge is a plus
Education
B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Certifications
Licensed Professional Engineer
