JOB TITLE: Interactive UI Developer

LOCATION: remote

PAY RATE: $65ph / w2

START DATE: asap

DURATION: 3- 6 months (possible extension)

HOURS: Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week (must be able to work CST zone)

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking an Interactive Developer who is proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to support a Design Systems build for a large Fortune 500 company.

Job Description

Need development support for building the design system. The role will entail developers designing out components from Figma files; support and fix current Live Style Guide (LSG).

Day-to-day Tasks: Majority of the day consists of developing components for design system; working with accessibility team; working alongside other development teams.

REQUIREMENTS

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and coding abilityFigma is a mustWork with React and AngularFamiliar with storybook and zero height is preferred; experience with AEM is nice to have5-6 years’ experience working as a developerGood communicator with strong people skills. Outgoing, able to communicate within different groupsPortfolios a must –design system experience Background/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree and related experience in development. Expertise in web component standards such as Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, and HTML Templates. Understanding of front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., webpack, npm). Knowledge of web standards and best practices for front-end development. Familiarity with web component libraries/tools such as LitElement, Polymer, or Stencil is a plus. Works with ZeroHeight, Storybook, FigmaHas AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) experience
