EPIC experience is a MUSTMin of 1 year exp in AR insurance follow up / collectionsUnderstanding of denials – what they mean and how to overturnHow to utilize insurance portals – Availity, United Healthcare, Connex, etc. How to put together documentation for appealsCoding knowledge – CPC is a plusContacting payers and know how to dispute
Someone who is computer savvyPrefer someone with epic experienceStrong denial experienceStrong experience of appealsExperience with insurance portals (ex: United, blue cross, etc)Experience with commercial insurances as well as government insurances (MCOs, MLTCs, etc… think Healthfirst, metroPlus, Fidelis care,etc)Metrics - 40 accts/day. They will start with less around 15-20 and ramp up wen readyCritical thinker, problem solver, go getter mentality
Equipment: Laptop and Monitor provided Schedule:This job will be in person 5 days a week for the first 6 months but has the opportunity to WFH 3 days a week depending on performance. Monday - Friday — 9 -5:30PM , flexible 8:30a-5:30p (37.5hrs)
