📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Title: Lab Tech Duration: 12 monthsLocation: New York, NY
Responsibilities :• Contribute to all aspects of analytical assay development, from design to qualification, for our AAV-based drugs.• Contribute to the development and qualification of new molecular bioassays for AAVs including titer, genomic integrity, and next-generation sequencing assays.• Perform testing in support of Prevail's AAV programs using techniques such as ddPCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, and NGS.• Analyze, document, and report data.• Write technical reports and SOPs.• Communicate data within the group as well as across functions.
Qualifications:• BS or MS with 2+ years of lab experience with molecular biology techniques.• A skill set which may include qPCR/ddPCR, next-generation sequencing, spectrophotometry, gel/capillary electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE/Western blot, or others.• Understanding of analytical method lifecycle of development, qualification, validation, and documentation is a plus.• Prior experience with AAVs is a plus.• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• A passion for learning, understanding, and advancing science.• Motivation to learn new skills both inside and outside the lab.• Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
