Software Methods is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst for a 12+ month contract opportunity at our client in the King of Prussia, PA area. This is a hybrid opportunity.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting client’s accounting function. Specifically, the Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining general accounting functions related to interconnection billings and supporting cash, account receivable and accounts payable.
Essential Functions:Assist in the maintenance of the billing module in SAP as it relates to interconnection billing, including: creation of projects in SAP, creation of SAP quotations for new projects and project changesSupport the issuance of monthly interconnection bills to interconnection service developers, including gathering supporting documentationAs applicable, become a backup for month-end processes within the Controller Department. Required Experience:Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively and operate in a fast-paced team environmentBS (or working towards) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration. Preferred Experience:SAP knowledge, specifically IM and PS modules Knowledge of MS-Excel pivot tablesEquivalent working experience (0-5 years).
